Maybe She Can be an Honorary Lesbian?

As you know, Bea Arthur passed away earlier this year.   In her will, she left $300,000 to an LGBT youth center in New York City.  The money will be used to purchase a housing facility that will serve 12 young people who have been rejected by their families because of their sexual orientation or gender identity.  

I was truly touched by Arthur’s gift and her apparent concern for gay youth.  I don’t know if she was a lesbian but I’d be proud to count her among our ranks.    Thanks, Bea!
